My Christmas Present!!

I am so excited. Me and Jason went to Circuit City a few weeks ago and I was only "looking" at them and I was only looking for a 40D anyway. Well since they are going out of business they didn't have much left so all they had was one 50D. So I called Jason over and told him what a good deal it was with their clearance price. And he actually said "YES"!!!! I sold my old camera for $350 so it help with the price. I absolutely love it. Here is a pic of it. Isn't it so pretty!!!

I want to get into Photography more. I have always loved to take pictures. I am taking pictures at my friends wedding in February. How exciting!!!

What am I thankful for?

Well lets see....

1. My kids are happy and healthy
2. Me and my husband are still employed in this economy
3. Gas is under $2.00 a gallon (never thought I would ever see that again)
4. I have family coming for Thanksgiving dinner

I know there are a million more things but my head is as clogged up as my nose right now :(

Update...

We found the dogs owner...phewww!! He was sweet and all but we have enuf mouths to feed, lol.

He was just going to the store...

My husband just ran up to walgreens and found this beautiful Golden Retriever wandering in the parking lot. We have fliers up, I just really hope we find the owner. I don't want ANOTHER dog!!!

New License Plate

Ok obviously you know my political views just by who I am voting for. I believe he is the lesser of the 2 evils. I believe in our founding fathers and what they stood for. I do not want to this country to become socialized...not to mention I will be out of a job. But to really get the word out, I got a new plate to advertise my beliefs.

The Lice Letter...

So a letter was sent home with Matthew today that someone in his kindergarten class has it. ICK!!! So I did a thorough inspection and all is well, but the letter did say to check every day for 2-3 weeks!! I just hope and pray he doesn't get it. I don't even think they sell anything for that anymore.

I finally found it...

Well I actually had it all along but apparently couldn't figure out where to plug it in!! It is the charger for the Camcorder!! I am so excited that I can finally take some video of the kiddos!! I have been so bummed for so long because I thought we had lost the cord. I saw something on TV today that made me get up and look for it and not quit until I found it. It was some old home video of one of Jasons favorite Drag Racers home video. And I started thinking, what are you doing...do you want all the kids cute moments to just be memories in your mind???? So I looked in the bag once again and there was a Sony plug but again I couldn't get it to fit in the only hole I could find...but I was trying to fit in the wrong plug...duhh!! Yaayy, I found the right hole for it. It is charging right now.
